The mayor of Los Angeles Karen Bass announced a ban on night in the city center, in a move that comes after the second largest city in the United States witnessed riots and night clashes between security forces and demonstrators against President Donald Trump’s policies on immigration.
“I declared a local emergency and imposed a curve in downtown Los Angeles to stop sabotage and looting,” Pass told reporters.
