The investigation authorities decided to imprison the driver accused of causing the deaths of 19 girls on Friday morning in the collision of his heavy transport vehicle loaded with a microbus car carrying victims on the regional road in Menoufia.
The decision came to imprison the accused for 4 days pending investigations and conducting drug analysis to explain his use of narcotic drugs, and the necessary legal procedures are being completed regarding the incident.
A source revealed the visit of Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, at the head of a delegation from the Red Crescent and a representative from the Council of Ministers to the village of Kafr El -Senabsa, affiliated to the Menouf Center, to offer condolences to the families of the victims of the regional road in Menoufia.
The source emphasized the keenness of the Minister of Solidarity and all the concerned agencies to provide the necessary support to the families of the victims of the regional road accident in Menoufia, after the terrible accident that the governorate witnessed on Friday.
For his part, Major General Ibrahim Abu Laimon, Governor of Menoufia, mourned the victims of the regional road accident that occurred on Friday and resulted in a number of deaths and injured, expressing his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, calling on the Almighty to shroud the deceased with his mercy and to inspire their families with patience and solace, and to grant those with a speedy recovery.
The Governor of Menoufia emphasized the continuous follow -up since the accident, noting that the assistant secretary and undersecretary of the Ministry of Health were assigned to be at the site of the accident to provide all aspects of support and care for the injured, and fully coordination with hospitals.
