The New Valley Governorate received a delegation of governors deputies at the level of the Republic, on an unprecedented field visit aimed at inspecting development and service projects and following up the experience of digital transformation and smart governance within the governorate, in the presence of Major General Dr. Mohamed Al -Zamalout, Governor of the region, Hanan Magdy, Deputy Governor, and a number of executive leaders.

The visit witnessed an effective participation from Dr. Mohamed Abdel -Hadi, Deputy Governor of Sohag, who praised the new valley experience in implementing the first smart government services complex in the Republic, stressing the importance of exchanging experiences between the governorates to support digitization efforts and develop public services in accordance with the state’s vision in building the new republic.
Major General Zamalout stressed that the visit comes in implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic for local development, to highlight the experience of the New Valley as a pioneering model in the development of administrative infrastructure and the mechanization of government services.
The visit program included field tours within the smart government interest complex, a detailed review of the implementation stages, and to see the latest mechanisms for automating services and digital transformation applications, in addition to inspecting a number of development and investment projects in the governorate.
The participation of the Deputy Governor of Sohag in this visit reflects the keenness of preserving the benefit of successful national experiences, especially in the areas of digital governance, simplifying procedures, and improving the quality of services provided to citizens, within the framework of supporting the state’s plans to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development.
