Death, Safiya Ali Muhammad Kano, the prominent Bahraini character who left an immortal imprint in the fields of art and charitable work, after a march full of giving and creativity.
Safia was born in the capital, Manama, and raised in the confines of her parents, in which the values of giving and dedication were planted, which are the values that were manifested in her life and her long career, shaking her with her brothers and sisters: Ahmed, Abdullah, Hamad, Sharifa, Fatima, Sarah, Fawzia, Maryam, Farida, and Hanan.
An artistic career for more than 35 years
Safia began her artistic journey in the eighties of the last century, where her reflections and impressions were embodied through her feathers and oil colors. She presented her first exhibition entitled “Impressions” between 1980 and 1983, in which she reflected her artistic vision that brought together various artistic styles and trends.
In December 2015, she held the exhibition “Impressions 2”, which reviewed its artistic development and creativity in simulating nature. She was also planning to hold a third art exhibition next year, to complete her distinguished artistic career.
A great charitable legacy
Mrs. Safia was a symbol of charitable work in Bahrain, where she contributed to financing and supporting many humanitarian initiatives. Among her most prominent contributions:

Safiya Center for Arts and Handicrafts: Development Vision
Safiya Ali Muhammad Kano Center for Arts and Handicrafts is a model for its commitment to support society. The center was established with full funding from Mrs. Safia, embodying its technical vision and development goals in cooperation with the Bahrain Trust Foundation. The center provides workshops for workshops, training resources, and professional courses, which enables owners of small and home projects to achieve their aspirations and develop their skills.
Honoring and achievements
Safia obtained a first -class efficiency medal in 2001 and 2012, in appreciation of her charitable efforts in supporting youth, women, and childhood sectors.
She also received many decorations and certificates that reflect her dedication to community service.
Safia Ali Muhammad Kano left, but her artistic and charitable legacy will remain immortal in the memory of Bahrain. Her decades’ career is a model for giving and creativity, and her work will remain an inspiration for future generations.
