This came when a meeting with His Highness, may God protect him today, at the British Prime Minister’s headquarters, “10 Downing Street”, His Excellency Sir Kerr Starmer, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, in the framework of the official visit made by His Highness to the United Kingdom, where His Highness welcomed the United Kingdom’s accession to the comprehensive agreement of security integration and prosperity, based on the invitation received by the Kingdom United from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America to join the agreement, noting His Highness to the importance of continuing to promote and develop coordination paths and joint work between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom friendly in light of the comprehensive agreement for security integration and prosperity, and create more qualitative opportunities that contribute to pushing it towards more advanced levels, in a way that is good and growing for the two countries and the two friendly peoples, pointing to His Highness to the important role The United Kingdom is carried out by the friend, along with brotherly and friendly countries, in strengthening the pillars of security and stability in the region and the world.
His Highness the Crown Prince also valued the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland to welcome the Kingdom of Bahrain’s improper membership in the UN Security Council for the period from (2026-2027) and his keenness to support diplomatic efforts and enhance joint cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields were discussed, and to emphasize the importance of strengthening discussions on the free trade agreement between the United Kingdom and the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.
The topics of common concern were discussed, and the latest developments were discussed at the regional and international levels, as the two sides stressed the importance of stopping the military escalation and mutual attacks between Israel and Iran, stressing the importance of reducing the escalation immediately to preserve the security and stability of the region, and to take diplomacy approach as an effective way to settle disputes, and the importance of ceasefire in the Gaza Strip was emphasized, the release of hostages and detainees, and ensuring a connection Humanitarian aid to the residents of the sector.

1- The second strategic partnership in the field of investment and cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, which supports mutual investment between the two countries that would contribute to enhancing economic growth and creating more job opportunities in the two friendly countries, within the joint priority sectors, including the financial services sector, the technology sector and the industry sector, and support efforts to reduce the intensity of carbon emissions, through investing two billion pounds from the private sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain In Britain, where the Memorandum of Understanding was signed from the Bahraini side, His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and from the British side, His Excellency Mrs. Rachel Reeves, Minister of Treasury in the United Kingdom.
2- The Defense Cooperation Agreement between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, which aims to enhance the joint commitment to maintaining regional security and peace, and supporting the level of coordination and joint training between the two friendly countries, as well as strengthening the maritime partnership in the military and defense field, which was signed by the Bahraini side by His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi, Minister of Defense Affairs, and from the British side, His Excellency Mr. John Healy, Minister of Defense in the United Kingdom.
