The Council of Ministers confirms the readiness of the authorities for regional developments and the abundance of food and water inventory

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers that was held yesterday at the Qudaibiya Palace.

The council started its weekly meeting by welcoming His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of Prime Minister’s Office, and congratulating him on the occasion of the issuance of the royal decree of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Great Country, may God protect and preserve him, by appointing His Highness the Minister of the Prime Minister, which confirms the national competencies of the authority of the royal royal renewed, in appreciation And strengthening the institutional performance system, wishing the Council to His Highness all success in its duties.

Then the Council praised the efforts made by the various government agencies during the blessed Eid Al -Adha period, which contributed to maintaining public safety and security, and ensuring the continuity of providing vital services to citizens and residents efficiently throughout the days of the holiday.

The Council also congratulated the pilgrims of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the safety of their return to the homeland after performing the rituals of Hajj, asking God Almighty to accept from them the good of the works, and that their pilgrimage be justified, pointing to the efforts of the Mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the Hajj and the services it provided to ensure the comfort and safety of the pilgrims of the Kingdom, and at the same time expressing sincere thanks and appreciation to the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the king of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, And the follow -up of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on the great efforts and distinguished initiatives it exerts in organizing the Hajj season, and congratulating the sister kingdom for the great success achieved in the Hajj season this year.

In another context, the Council expressed its pride in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s victory in the non -permanent membership of the UN Security Council for the period from (2026-2027), stressing that this victory embodies the distinguished international status of the Kingdom and great confidence in its diplomatic approach based on the consolidation of peace, security and development at the global level, and the Council reviewed a report raised by the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The Council also welcomed the election of the United Nations Economic and Social Council of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a member of the Executive Council of the United Nations Women for the period (2026-2028), considering that this achievement comes as a result of the continuous national efforts led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the wife of the country’s great king, President of the Supreme Council for Women, may God protect her, in support of the paths of empowering Bahraini women and enhancing their pioneering presence In various fields.

The Council emphasized the Kingdom of Bahrain’s steadfast and calling for peace and resolving crises through dialogue and diplomatic means, expressing the importance of stopping military escalation and mutual attacks between Israel and Iran and its serious repercussions on security and regional stability, stressing the importance of reducing the escalation immediately to maintain the security and stability of the region, and take diplomatic approach as an effective way to settle conflicts, and to show the utmost restraint and spare the region and its peoples The risk of wars and pushing towards continuing the US -Iranian negotiations on the Iranian nuclear file.

In a related context, the Council continued the developments of the regional situation and its implications for security and stability in the region, and the Council reviewed a detailed explanation from His Excellency the Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Civil Defense Council on the preparations that were taken to raise the readiness of the civil emergency administration in light of the developments of the regional conditions, and in this regard the Council directed to continue taking the necessary measures to deal with emergency cases according to the current circumstances in the region as confirmed on the following:

Security and field readiness has been raised and the National Center for Civil Emergency Management was activated.

Food and basic commodities are available in sufficient quantities and cover the needs.

Fully flowing to the movement of entry and exit of goods and without interruption, in order to ensure the flow of supplies and the regularity of goods in the markets.

⁠ Pharmacokinetics are available and cover the needs and high readiness for medical teams to provide health services in all governorates.

Electricity production covers all regions of the Kingdom completely and completely, with the readiness of emergency plans to ensure the continuity of supplies in various circumstances.

A safe water reserves are available, while securing production continuity, ensuring that water needs are met in all circumstances.

The readiness of 33 shelters and activation centers according to the need if necessary in accordance with the instructions of the concerned authorities.

Continuous follow -up to facilitate the return of citizens stranded abroad due to the suspension of aviation in a number of countries and the abolition of flights.

Continue to follow aviation safety in some air tracks.

The readiness of warning systems and ensuring that they reach all members of society.

Communications infrastructure is flexible and efficient that enables it to deal with emergency situations to ensure the continuity of services.

Control continues for radioactive levels within the Kingdom, with complete readiness to respond to radiological emergencies, ensuring the protection of public safety and the preservation of the health of the population and the environment.

The Council reassured citizens and residents that the concerned authorities in the Kingdom of Bahrain continue their efforts at various levels and take all necessary measures to ensure the security and stability of the homeland and provide the basic needs of citizens and residents.

Then the Council expressed sincere condolences and sympathy to the friendly Republic of India, leadership and government, and to the families and families of the victims of a civilian passenger plane crash.

Then the council approved the following notes:

1. The Memorandum of the Ministerial Committee for Financial and Economic Affairs and financial balance on the Women’s Exporting Fund in the Digital Economy launched by the World Trade Organization in cooperation with the International Trade Center in February 2024.

2. The Memorandum of the Ministerial Committee for Financial and Economic Affairs and the financial balance on the contributions of the Kingdom of Bahrain to regional and international organizations.

4. Memorandum of the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs on the government’s response to 7 proposals with a desire submitted by the House of Representatives.

Then the council took note through the ministerial reports in the following:

1. The results of the participation in the meeting of the ministerial committee charged with the extraordinary Arab Islamic Summit on Gaza.

2. The results of participation in the third United Nations Conference on Oceanic.

3. The results of the participation in the 113th session of the International Labor Conference.
