The Civil Protection Forces in Port Said Governorate, headed by Brigadier Sherif Al -Arabi, received a notification of a massive fire in a heavy transport vehicle, near Port Said – Damietta Road, and immediately two newly extinguishing cars were pushed, and the forces arrived at the site of the accident within minutes of receiving the communication.

On the examination, it was found that the fire broke out in the cabin of a transport car loaded with an iron shipment, as the fire began to devour the front of the car, and the civil protection men immediately dealt with the fire, using advanced equipment, and managed to completely control the flames, before extending to the load.
The forces succeeded in saving the iron load and preventing it from fusion as a result of the high temperature, and the losses were limited to the burning of the cabin only, while it was found that the driver was not inside the car at the time of the fire, and the accident did not result in any injuries between citizens or passers -by, and no deaths were recorded.

The security services in Port Said Governorate received a notification of the incident, a team was formed from the Criminal Investigation Department to uncover the circumstances of the fire, take legal measures, and investigations are being completed.
