Yesterday morning, the Australian team delegation arrived at Bahrain International Airport, to be the first participating team to land in the Kingdom, in preparation for participating in the upcoming Asian championship competitions.
The Australian delegation was received, according to the operational plan approved by the executive committee of the tournament, where members of the Public Relations, Reception and Transport Committees took the task of welcoming the mission and facilitating its arrival procedures, and all the members of the delegation were housed in the Dawn Town Rotana Hotel in the capital, Manama, which represents the official headquarters of the housing of the teams participating in the tournament.
It is expected that the Australian team will start its training program in the coming days in coordination with the stadium committee, as part of its preparations for the official competitions.
It is noteworthy that the championship draw put the Australian team in the first group alongside both the Qatari team, the defending champion and the Kazakh national team. Other teams are scheduled to complete their participation in their arrival in Bahrain during the next two days.
