The Railways Authority announced the success of coordination with the specialized agencies of the Ministry of Interior in the arrest of the person who appeared in a video circulating on social media, uprooting a lighting bulb from one of the new Russian trains and throwing it outside the train.
The accused was referred to the Public Prosecution to take the necessary legal measures.

This move came based on the directives of the team, the entire engineer, the Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and the Minister of Industry and Transport.
The police managed to seize the perpetrator, a worker residing in the Kom Ombo Police Station Department in Aswan.
The defendant, upon confronting, acknowledged that while he was independent of the train, accompanied by one of his friends, heading from Aswan station to Kom Ombo station, the train supervisor signed a fine for him for not carrying a ride ticket.
After that, he uprooted the lighting bulb from a train vehicle and threw it outside in protest against the signing of the fine.
His friend also photographed him and published the clip on social media.
