The University of Bahrain launched a new tender aimed at contracting with one of the providers of agricultural and gardening services, in order to provide integrated services covering the various sites of the university, including the Sakhir campus, the city of Issa, Al -Salamaniya, and Alia, as well as administrative, academic and residential buildings of the university.
The university stated that the contract includes providing integrated services to managing the vegetation, in line with the local environment, in addition to the work of coordination and trimming of the gardens, the combating and processing of agricultural pests, and the management of agricultural waste in accordance with the criteria adopted in the Kingdom.
The university explained that the tender requires the provision of specialized cadres that include gardeners, supervisors, drivers, water and plumbing network technicians, in addition to heavy equipment drivers.
The service provider is also obligated to provide private vehicles to transport workforce, agricultural equipment, and gardening tools, as well as the supply of fertilizers, pesticides, sand, annual plants, etc. as stated in the tender documents.
The primary guarantee required for the tender amounts to 2500 dinars, provided that its validity is valid for 180 days from the closing date.
The contract implementation period extends to three years. The university invited those wishing to apply to submit their offers no later than Wednesday, July 16th, according to the conditions and specifications specified in the tender documents.
