Part of the roof tiles one of the halls of an electricity building, inside the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, cracked during the performance of students of the second year in the Electricity Department, which caused the injury of one of the students, a doctor, and the nursing staff was called in the college clinic to take the necessary action.

The students circulated the details of the incident, as one of them said: I submit to you this complaint on behalf of a number of students who were present in the examination hall at the time of a serious and unfortunate accident.
He added on Facebook: Despite the seriousness of the critical health and psychological situation that the student and all the attendees went through, the exam has not been suspended or sufficient measures were taken to ensure the safety of students.
He continued: On the contrary, we were forced to stay in our places, ignore what happened completely, and was satisfied with giving only an additional ten minutes.
Another student also wrote, via Facebook: The topic is that we are in almost 201 and without warning the ceiling signed on one of our colleague in the first ten minutes and of course, there is no pictures and no need for any need so we were in a committee, after which they answered the two butterflies, they set the world and closed the separation, but the roof shape did not need an explanation.
For its part, the Faculty of Engineering replied, in the statement that during the exam of the second division at the Department of Electrical Engineering, a crack and a decline in the coverage and paint layer occurred for a part of the roof slab in one of the halls of an electricity building, which caused the injury of one of the students and a doctor was called, and the nursing staff was called the college clinic to take the necessary action.
The student was also transferred to the University Student Hospital to do the necessary and necessary examinations and rumors, and it was found that it is free of any fractures or bleeding, and the presence of a scalp wound required surgical stitches, and it was placed under observation and left for the hospital after checking on her health condition.
Immediately after the accident, the hall was evacuated and the examination committee was transferred to another place, for fear of students, and to ensure the continuing exams safely
In a precautionary procedure, the Occupational Safety and Health Department at the Faculty of Engineering reviewed the position of the rest of the building, in addition to forming an engineering committee to determine the causes and technical ways to address them.
