The “Smile” initiative of the Future Future Association, which is concerned with providing psychological and social support for children with cancer patients and their families in the Kingdom of Bahrain; With the graduation of 53 children recovering from cancer, as part of the “brave smile” program; Under the generous patronage of the Islamic Bank of Bahrain, the pioneering bank in providing innovative and simplified Islamic digital banking services in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which sponsored the ceremony, as an expression of its commitment to support humanitarian initiatives.
The event, which was held on June 1, at the Safiya Kano Art Center, witnessed the presence of Mrs. Fatima Al -Alawi, CEO of Bahrain Islamic Bank, and a number of bank officials, in addition to a number of personalities and initiative volunteers, as well as a group of families of recovered children who were overwhelmed by feelings of joy and happiness.
On this occasion, Mrs. Fatima Al -Alawi, CEO of Bahrain Islamic Bank, affirmed the great bank’s pride in supporting this inspiring event that celebrates the steadfastness of these heroic children and their courage in facing the disease, noting that the bank’s commitment to society represents the essence of its strategy, and also expressed its happiness that the bank is part of the journey to heal these children and restore the smile to their faces, stressing that the bank’s cooperation with an initiative A “smile” is a dedication to the bank’s continuous commitment to its social responsibility and its support for initiatives that contribute to improving the lives of individuals and society as a whole.

It is worth noting that the Islamic Bank of Bahrain had recently signed a joint cooperation agreement with the “Smile” initiative, with the aim of implementing initiatives dedicated to supporting heroic children with cancer, and this event comes in an embodiment of the goals of the agreement, and stresses the importance of cooperation between all civil society institutions and the private sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, to support humanitarian issues and spread hope and positive in society.
