The museums sector of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, through its official Facebook page, highlighted the Prince Muhammad Ali Tawfiq Palace, commenting: It is considered a school for teaching various styles of arts and architecture and shows many effects, whether Fatimu, Persian, Moroccan, Shami, or Paroco, and Rakuku, European influences and some Pharaonic influences.

The museums sector administration said in a statement that the Moroccan and Andalusian influences appear in the clock tower, as it is a building in the style of Moroccan silos, especially Somaa, the Hassan Mosque in Rabat, especially that the minarets are one of the most important distinctive architectural elements, and the aim of them was to communicate the call to prayer, and after that there were many jobs such as monitoring and guiding people to the mosque site and as an astronomical observation.

She pointed out that there are some opinions indicating that some minarets of the palace were built as a mosque’s minaret in the style of Morocco and Andalusia, and the minaret has vegetable motifs, engineering, Quranic writings, and prominent contracts and containing stone junkets and bodies, as they were famous in the military buildings, especially since the minaret alongside the palace wall that resembles the fences of the fortresses in the middle ages.
