Saudi star Saud Abdel Hamid, the Italian team player, is close to going into a new professional experience in the French Premier League, during the current summer transfer period for 2025, after a limited season to participate with the Italian capital team.
A short experience in Rome
The Saudi international right back joined the ranks of Rome in the summer of 2024 coming from the Saudi Crescent, but he did not get enough opportunities to participate during his first season, as he played only 4 games in the Italian League, and scored a single goal, amid strong competition for his position in the team.
Possible destination: French Toulouse
According to Foot Mercato network, Saud Abdel Hamid tends to move to Toulouse this summer, within a deal that may be on the loan system, in light of Rome’s desire to better invest the player through an external experience that enhances his level and increases his chances of strong return later.
French conflict and attention from Lance
The same reports indicated that there is interest from the French club Lance in the services of the player, due to his high physical capabilities and his ability to play in more than one defensive position, but Toulouse seems the closest to resolving the deal, especially with the player’s preference for this destination, because he provides an opportunity for a basic play and a suitable competitive climate.
Long contract and new aspirations
Saud Abdel Hamid, 25, has a contract with Roma that extends until the summer of 2028, which gives the Italian administration a margin of maneuver in his file, whether by loan or final sale in the event of negotiations, especially since the player has strong international experience with the Saudi national team.
