The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hayat Association, the Best Charitable Society, MP Ahmed Al -Salloum, opened the “Ain Umm Al -Sha`oum” project in the Al -Mahouz region, in the framework of the charitable association’s initiatives aimed at strengthening the local environment and preserving the cultural heritage, in cooperation with the Capital Secretariat.
Al -Salloum said in a statement that the project to revive the “Ain Umm al -Sha`oum” embody the association’s commitment to reviving historical sites with an impact on societal memory, pointing to the ancient cultural and heritage value that the eye represents for the people of the region and for Bahrain in general.
He explained that the association’s responsibility for managing and fully maintaining the garden comes within the practical activation of the concept of community partnership between civil society institutions and official bodies, in a way that serves the achievement of development goals that contribute to improving the quality of life and supporting family stability.
Al -Salloum indicated that Al Ain will be open to visitors at three periods per day, while providing free entry to needy families registered with the association, as well as organizing swimming courses for the people of the region.
The association set the entry fees for Al Ain with 500 fils for children and one dinar for adults, with the aim of providing an entertainment service at symbolic prices.
At the end of his statement, Al -Salloum called on the families to benefit from this initiative during the summer vacation season, stressing the importance of adhering to security instructions and following up children while they were in the swimming pool to ensure their safety.
