On Thursday, the city of St. Catherine received a number of tourists and visitors of various nationalities, to visit religious and historical sanctities, climb Jabal Musa, and visit the Monastery of Saint Catherine.
Ibrahim Abdel Halim, Director General of Public Relations and Information in Saint Catherine, said that the city received today a number of tourists and visitors of various nationalities, in order to climb Mount Moses and watch the sunrise from the highest mountain peak, in addition to visiting the assessment of medicinal herbs and Bedouin officials.
Abdel Halim confirmed that the city of Saint Catherine received today 394 tourists and visitors, including 43 Egyptian visitors, all of whom climbed Jabal Musa and visited St. Catherine.
Abdel Halim revealed that the total of those who climbed Mount Moses reached 197 people, including 15 Egyptians and 182 foreign tourists, while the Saint Catherine Monastery visited 197 tourists and visitors, including 28 Egyptians and 169 foreign tourists.
Abdel Halim added that the nationalities that visited the city of Saint Catherine today were from countries: Russia, Mexico, America, Germany, Indonesia, Malaysia, Macedonia and Brazil.
Abdel Halim pointed out that the tourists, after the completion of the climbing of Jabal Musa and the visit of the Monastery of Saint Catherine and its religious sanctities, visited the colored valleys, the medical herbal house and the Bedouin artifacts area, to buy souvenirs and herbs that treat dozens of diseases.
