The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the success of the National Research Center, through the efforts of Dr. Rehab Ali Hassan, a researcher at the Pharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical Industries Research Institute, in developing natural food supplements extracted from algae, containing high levels of proteins, minerals and basic vitamins, and is considered a safe and effective alternative to imported nutritional supplements.

This product is a distinguished model for employing scientific research in the service of national industries, which contributes to reducing dependence on imported materials, and supports the trend towards investing in local alternatives of high economic and health value.
This comes within the framework of the launch of higher education, a new episode of the “Imported 2025” series in cooperation with the National Research Center.
