Representative Mamdouh Abbas Al -Saleh, a member of the House of Representatives, participated in the meeting of the Palestine Committee in the Arab Parliament, which was held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, as part of the closing session of the first session of the fourth legislative chapter of the Arab Parliament. The meeting was devoted to following up the latest political and humanitarian developments related to the Palestinian issue.
The participation of the Kingdom of Bahrain in this meeting comes as an affirmation of its fixed and supportive positions of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, in light of the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, based on a solid diplomatic vision calling for a fair peace, rejects violence, and believes in dialogue based on the principles of justice, mutual respect and rejecting unilateral solutions.
Al -Saleh stressed during the meeting that the Palestinian issue remains the central issue of the Arab and Islamic nation, stressing that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues its firm and firm support for the brotherly Palestinian people through various parliamentary, political and diplomatic platforms, embodying the feelings of Bahraini popular solidarity towards the suffering of the Palestinians in light of the continuous violations practiced by the occupation authorities.
Al -Saleh called for activating the Arab parliamentary role in defending Palestinian rights, and enhancing coordination with regional and international parliaments to mobilize political, legal and diplomatic support for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as its capital, according to the Arab Peace Initiative and international legitimacy decisions.
