The Kremlin reported today, Friday, that Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed during a telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the importance of returning to the process of negotiating Iran’s nuclear program.
The Kremlin press office said in a statement: In a conversation with the Israeli Prime Minister, the Russian President stressed the importance of returning to the negotiation process and resolving all issues related to the Iranian nuclear program by political and diplomatic means, and also expressed his willingness to provide mediation services to prevent further escalation of tensions.
Putin also made a phone call to Iranian President Masoud Bzshkian, as the latter confirmed that the Israeli attack on Iran is a flagrant violation of international rules and will be met with an appropriate response, indicating that Iran has always confirmed that it does not seek to produce nuclear weapons and is ready to provide guarantees in this regard to international legitimate parties.

The Kremlin indicated that Russian President Vladimir Putin extended his condolences to the leadership and people of Iran in the victims of the Israeli raids.
