The Minister of Youth Affairs, Rawan Tawfiqi, confirmed that the unlimited support that the youth sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, is an important pillar in strengthening the role of youth in various fields. She referred to the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Acts and Youth Affairs, which provides an exceptional model in empowering young people through leading initiatives that exceeded the borders of the country, and contributed to preparing a confident, conscious, and leadership generation capable of competing globally.
On the occasion of the Gulf Youth Day, the Minister of Youth said that this day represents a prominent station that reflects the depth of interdependence and integration between the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and embodies a firm belief in the role of youth as a basic axis in supporting the process of sustainable development and enhancing progress in various fields. She added that the aspirations of Bahraini youth do not know the limits of geography, and the challenges do not stand before them, as they have proven that they are able to achieve exceptional achievements in advanced areas such as satellite design and the implementation of scientific tasks, embodying their ability to turn ambition into a tangible reality, as they are the makers of the future.
She added that the Gulf Youth Day is a renewed opportunity to enhance joint Gulf action, and to perpetuate the concepts of innovation and integration, by developing interactive digital programs, formulating future paths that combine creativity, technology and authentic Gulf identity, and enhance the presence of young people in the development scene in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
It expressed pride and pride in the youth of the Arab Gulf who raise the flags of their homelands in international forums, and contribute to their excellence in enhancing the Gulf’s position as a center for creativity and inspiration, stressing that the leading Gulf youth participations in important projects at the national level, is the best witness to their ability to anticipate the future, and move forward with a confident step towards global leadership.
The Minister of Youth pointed out that the Gulf youth should make this day a starting point towards broader horizons, formulating a common future that crosses the borders, embodies the spirit of belonging and the desire to advance their homelands, calling them to move forward with ambition that does not know borders, towards the paths of integration, creativity, and sustainable Gulf excellence.
