Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, the governor of Qena, surprised this morning the petroleum gas factory “HU” in the city of Qaft, to follow the workflow within the production lines, and to ensure the quality of packing operations, and the efficiency of weight control according to the approved technical and legal specifications.

During the tour, the governor inspected the stages of filling in the home and commercial stove cylinders, as well as continued the procedures for the weight of samples from cylinders, whether empty or packed, to ensure that they conform to the standard specifications, and the absence of any disparity in the weights, and also review the technical status of the cylinder structure and the extent of its internal cleanliness, and to ensure that they are free of any impurities that may affect the weight or the validity of use.
In this context, the governor directed the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade to intensify the control of the factory, review the gas assets, and control the packing mechanisms, while emphasizing the guarantee of the quality of cylinders before putting them in the markets, stressing the need to exclude any cylinders with technical defects, and prevent their circulation in order to preserve the safety of consumers, in addition to reviewing civil protection procedures in coordination with the Labor Directorate.
It is noteworthy that the petroleum gas factory “HU” in the city of Qaft is considered one of the most prominent industrial facilities in the governorate, and its production capacity reaches about 16 thousand gas cylinders daily per rosacea, which makes it a vital pillars in meeting the needs of citizens of gas at the level of Qena Governorate.
