The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the attack by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards on the Al -Kaddid air base, considering it a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Qatar and its air field, and a violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.
The Ministry confirmed that the Qatari air defenses successfully thwarted the attack, and confronted Iranian missiles, noting that Qatar reserves the right to direct response in proportion to the size of the attack and according to international law.
She pointed out that the rule of many was previously evacuated according to the security measures, and all measures were taken to ensure the safety of the Qatari and friendly forces, stressing that there were no injuries or human losses.
She explained that the Ministry of Defense will issue a later clarification statement on the circumstances of the attack.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry considered that the continuation of such escalation acts undermines regional security and stability, and threatens the international peace, calling for an immediate end of military actions and a return to dialogue and negotiations.
She stressed the importance of the principle of good neighborhood, stressing that dialogue is the only way to overcome crises.
