The Egyptian Football Association announced a residence Professional League In the new season, with the participation of 18 clubs, after his last decision to increase the number of teams, in a move aimed at developing the competition and raising the level of competitiveness between clubs.

This increase comes after the cancellation of the decline of the Premier League clubs, the rise of Arab contractors teams, Wadi Degla, and Ismailia Electricity, while Masar clubs, military production, and finance of Kafr El -Zayat participate after their rise from the second section B.
The list of clubs participating in the professional league for the new season includes: Abu Qir Fertilizers, Railways, Channel, Aswan, Prix, Assiut Petroleum, Wei, Arsenal, Al -Mahalla Municipality, Al -Dakhili, Mansoura, Tanta, Raya, Dairout, Lavina, Massar, Military Production, and Finance of Kafr El -Zayat.
The teams are scheduled to be divided into three groups, each group includes 6 teams, and only 3 teams qualify for the Premier League in the following season.
The Football Association initially set August 31 as a date for the launch of the new version of the tournament, ensuring a suitable preparation period for clubs, and preparing stadiums and players, in preparation for the application of a new professional system that is in line with international standards and organizing major championships.
