Statistics of Port Affairs and Maritime Navigation revealed the issuance of 23 commercial licenses and 195 departure certificates, and 7 inspections were carried out during the month of May 2025, while Khalifa Port received 2,453 vehicles and 70 ships.
Statistics showed that the number of commercial containers that arrived at Khalifa Bin Salman Port during May amounted to 31,656 stereotypes, and 44,086 tons of general goods.
The official statistics issued by the Ministry of Communications and Communications also showed that the amount of liquid goods amounted to 581,532.18 million metric tons through private sidewalks, while the amount of solid goods reached 2,239,460 million metric tons within a month.
Ports and marine navigation affairs are concerned with issuing the necessary licenses for commercial activities assigned to marine services, which relate to operating industrial private sidewalks and passenger transport berths for ship agents and other marine services, and the license period is two years from the date of issuance, and the license is capable of renewal in accordance with the relevant ministerial laws and decisions.

These facilities are concentrated in the main industrial areas of the Kingdom of Bahrain: North Sitra Industrial Zone, Salman Industrial Port Region, Salman Industrial City, and Ras Zuweid. These sidewalks are located with appropriate sites that qualify them to serve the port and maritime transport sector, as it ensures the ease of conducting all logistical operations related to Silesement.
