During the past 24 hours, Port Said Governorate witnessed important events that included following up the launch of high school exams, an immediate response to the complaints of the parents in the suburbs, service openings, and the state’s efforts to remove encroachments and support the agricultural sector.

Major General Moheb Habashi, the Governor of Port Said, from inside the Operations Room of the Education Directorate, continued the launch of the high school exams for the academic year 2024-2025, as 6451 male and female students perform the exams through 18 committees distributed throughout the governorate, and the governor stressed the full commitment to security and organizational procedures, and immediately dealing with any emergency to ensure the examinations of the exams regularly.
In response to citizens ’complaints, the governor conducted a field tour in the Sayyida Nafisa district in the suburbs, and directed quickly to address sanitation problems, network maintenance, and build interfaces, in addition to removing waste and spray, confirming the continued efforts to improve the living environment in the most needy areas.
The governor opened the Banque Misr Egypt branch “Makkah Al -Mukarramah” in the ground floor in the eastern wing of the governorate’s general office, stressing that the branch contributes to facilitating banking transactions and services for citizens and employees, and comes within the state’s plan for digital transformation and expanding the scope of banking services.
Within the framework of supporting the agricultural sector, the Governor of Port Said discussed during an expanded meeting with agricultural and irrigation officials and farmers representatives, the problems of rice cultivation in the Sahel Al -Tina area and the mechanisms of providing water legalization, and reviewed the ministerial decision organized for rice cultivation in the governorate, directed by expanding the cultivation of salinity resistance and providing agricultural production requirements.
The governorate also continued to implement the second phase of the 26th wave to remove encroachments on the lands of the state, as an enlarged campaign succeeded in removing 4 cases of violation of violating buildings on an area of 520 square meters at the Nour al -Islam Agricultural Association in South Port Said, and legal measures were taken against violators, while emphasizing the continuation of efforts to address violations on state property.
