Jose Ribeiro, coach of the club’s first football team Al -AhlyHe was happy to be in America within the Al -Ahly mission to participate in the 2025 Club World Cup.
This came during the press conference attended by Ribeiro and organized by the FIFA in the US state of Miami, to talk about some of the matters of the Club World Cup, which starts a few days later in America.

Al -Ahly coach Ribeiro said: I am happy here, and that I represent Al -Ahly, one of the greatest clubs in the history of the Club World Cup, which has previously participated in many previous versions of the tournament.
He added: Certainly, Al -Ahly Group is difficult, like the rest of the groups, but all the elements of the team are awaiting the championship with great passion in order to provide the best possible level.
Al -Ahly coach continued: At this stage, our goal is to qualify for the round of 16 as a first step, and we want to achieve positive results, and we prepare strongly for the opening match against Inter Miami.
Ribeiro continued: Al -Ahly is a great club, and it has many fans everywhere, and we know that there is an audience waiting for us to achieve positive results, and we will work to make them happy.
And Ribeiro added: The most important thing for us is currently the crossing for the next round, and winning in the opening meeting will be important to us, and certainly our fans in Egypt and the world always dream about the best of the club, but we think about the first step today, which is to achieve good results in the group stage.
Ribeiro concluded his statements by saying: Certainly, Lionel Messi has achieved everything, and there are some who describe him as the best player in history, and for this we will need a great effort in the match in general, and in any case we are happy to face Messi, but this does not reduce the value of the rest of the Inter Miami players, we are preparing to face the opposing team as a whole and not only one player.
