The developed Oben AI company for the Chat GBT application said in a report today (Thursday) that it has noticed the increase in the number of Chinese groups that use its artificial intelligence technology in secret operations, according to Reuters. The start -up company, which is based in San Francisco, said that although the scope of these groups and their methods expanded, the discovered operations were generally small and targeted a few audiences. There have been concerns since the emergence of “Chat BT” in the late 2022, and they are concerns related to the possible consequences of the technology of obstetric artificial intelligence, which can produce texts, images and sounds similar to that human being quickly and easily.
Oben AI is constantly issuing reports related to the harmful activities it discovers on its platform, such as creating and removing malware, or creating false content for web sites and social media platforms.
In one of the examples, the company banned accounts published on social media leaflets related to political and geopolitical topics related to China, including criticizing a video game focused on Taiwan and making false accusations to a Pakistani activist and content related to the closure of the American Agency for International Development. In another example, infiltrators linked to China used artificial intelligence to support different stages of their electronic piracy operations, including open source search, modifying texts, exploring system formations, developing tools to penetrate passwords, and automating social media. The Chinese Foreign Ministry has not yet responded to the Reuters request to comment on the results concluded by the “Oben AI”.
