Eng. Ahmed Omran, Vice -Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority for the Utilities Sector, conducted an inspection tour to follow up on the projects of support and development of infrastructure in the new Borg El Arab city, which includes sanitation treatment stations, the completion of industrial lands, residential projects, and roads, accompanied by Eng. Ahmed Ali, Assistant Vice -Chairman of the Utilities Sector, Engineer Hammam, President of the city, and a number of officials of the agency and implementing companies.
The tour comes in implementation of the directives of Eng. Sherif El -Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, regarding the follow -up of the implementation of ongoing projects and adhering to the quality standards and deadlines.
Housing officials started the tour by inspecting the expansion of the bilateral treatment plant in the city, where the project officials reviewed the implementation rates and various stages of work, and the tour included the follow -up of the project to implement the facilities for 209 buildings within the presidential initiative housing for all Egyptians, and the importance of completing the work was emphasized according to the schedule without prejudice to quality standards and technical specifications.
The tour also included inspecting the projects of the artificial landscapes, and following up the work of the ongoing roads in the city, especially the project to develop and expand the Hassan Allam Road link between the new Burj Al Arab city and the northern coast, which represents great importance in supporting regional linking and facilitating the movement of transport.
Housing officials also inspected afforestation and agriculture projects in the main axes, as well as in social housing areas, within the framework of the need to preserve the city’s civilized and aesthetic pattern.
At the end of the tour, Eng. Ahmed Omran stressed the importance of periodic follow -up to implement all projects, and that no negligence will not be tolerated, with the need for all companies executing the specifications and completion of business at the specified times, with full commitment to quality standards.
