The head of the Jewish community in Milan, Volker Magnagne, held some politicians, especially from the current currents, the responsibility of this hostile climate, criticizing their silence about what happened, and accused them of fueling the feelings of hatred instead of confronting them, noting that the left is leading the rhetoric of anti -Semitism without deterrence, as described.
The Italian Senate Speaker, ENIO La Rossa, described the incident as a disgraceful behavior that calls for a clear and conclusive condemnation, adding that the public atmosphere is witnessing an escalation in hatred and intolerance, which affects not only Israelis and Jews, but also undermines the values of civil coexistence in Italy, and expressed his solidarity with the Jewish community, expressing his hope to quickly reach the identity of the perpetrators.
A member of the Milan Municipality Council, Daniel Nahoum, stated that the anti -Semitism in the city was out of control, while Davidi Romano, director of the Jewish Brigade Museum, said that these events represent an institutional anti -Semitism that begin with words and end with actions.
