His Excellency Mr. Ali Abdel -Hussein Al -Asfour, Governor of the Northern Governorate, met with a number of the people of the village of Al -Draz, a group of plastic artists, to discuss the implementation of an artistic mural at the entrance to the village, within the framework of the continuous efforts of the province to enhance the urban scene and highlight the Islamic and civilizational character of its regions.
During the meeting, the proposed perception of the mural, which will include Quranic verses and prophetic hadiths, was reviewed to reflect the sublime Islamic values and enhance the cultural and civilizational identity inherent in Bahraini society.
His Excellency the Governor stressed that the project comes in an embodiment of the integration of efforts between civil society institutions and civil and technical initiatives, praising the role of the villagers in contributing to these qualitative initiatives that enhance the concepts of community partnership and the spirit of one team.
His Excellency pointed out that the implementation of the mural will be in cooperation with civil society institutions in the village and a group of plastic artists from the people of Draz, explaining that these initiatives fall within the province’s strategy in supporting development and cultural projects that contribute to highlighting the aesthetic appearance and enhancing the values of national affiliation.
For their part, the participants in the meeting expressed their thanks and appreciation to the governor for his attention and continuous support for civil and development initiatives, stressing their keenness to continue cooperation and joint work to achieve the desired goals in the service of the country and citizens.
