Luxor Governorate witnessed a joyful festive atmosphere at the conclusion of the activities of the blessed Eid Al -Adha, organized by the Luxor Culture Branch, which is affiliated with the General Authority of Culture Palaces headed by Major General Khaled Al -Labban, within the program of the Ministry of Culture to celebrate national and religious occasions.
Art and heritage in Abu Al -Hajjaj Square
In Abu Al -Hajjaj Square, the celebration was launched with an artistic show of the Luxor Band for Arab Music, during which it presented a bouquet of Taraby and heritage songs with which the audience interacted, including “Eid Farha” and “The Heart Loves”.
The celebration included activities for children such as facial painting and a foaming mask design workshop, before the event concluded with an impressive presentation of the skirt paragraph with the participation of the Child Band for Folklore.
Heritage is present at the Tarif Culture Palace
The events continued at the Al -Tarif Culture Palace, under the supervision of the writer Mohamed Nassef, the vice -president of the authority, where an exhibition of heritage and manual crafts was opened, unlike the richness and diversity of the Egyptian heritage, followed by a cultural meeting entitled “The Manifestations of celebration of Eid al -Adha” during which the researcher Al -Adli Hassan addressed the importance of the sacrifice and the womb link, and the event concluded with a theatrical performance of the Al -Tarif band, and a poetry evening.
Children’s creativity in Hajar Al -Adisat
In the Palace of the culture of Hajar Al -Adisat, a technical workshop was held that dealt with the manifestations of the celebration of the feast, along with exhibition paragraphs that won the admiration of the attendees, especially children and their families.
Culture Message: Farah and Community Responsibility
The organization of these activities comes under the supervision of the Luxor Culture Branch headed by Hussein Al -Nubi, affiliated to the southern Upper Egypt region, and by Mahmoud Abdel -Wahab, within the framework of the General Authority for Culture Palaces’s plan to revive happy occasions through artistic and creative activities, in order to enhance the role of culture in supporting social values and introducing joy to the hearts of citizens.
