On Sunday, the American NBC network reported that the Pentagon held an emergency meeting to discuss a request from Israel related to interfering in the military escalation with Iran.
Israel launched, at dawn on Friday, an air attack targeting nuclear facilities and military sites in Iran, including the “Nanz” nuclear facility and the Revolutionary Guards headquarters in Tehran and Isfahan.
Iran has responded by launching drones and ballistic missiles at Israel.
