The Speaker of Parliament Ahmad Al -Muslim referred to the Services Committee a proposal for a law to add a second paragraph to Article 39 of the Child Law issued by Law No. (37) of 2012.
According to the proposal, a new second paragraph will be added to Article 39 of the Child Law issued by Law No. 37 of 2012, and its amendments, stipulating it, “The competent authorities issue the necessary decisions to organize the registration, opening or participation of the child in the means of communication and modern communication sites, taking into account his age, under the auspices of his parents or his guardian, according to the conditions.”
“The means of communication and social communication have become a social phenomenon that is terrible to expand, and previously it was possible to control the means of communication that was almost confined to two or three means.
Today, the means of communication have become many and unproductive and taking place in the increase and diversity, and it is parallel to the same path of the risk and the absence of an officer to prevent their impact on children, especially since some controls are not effective, most of these platforms (the media requires a certain age for registration, except that circumventing this condition is easy and affordable, therefore, the proposal of a law came to give the legislator and government agencies the authority to regulate the entry of the child to the entry of the child to The means of communication and various communication sites under the supervision of his parents or his guardian.
