Medvedev wrote: “Trump, who came as a peace -maker, started a new American war,” and saw that “the United States was involved in a new conflict, amid increasing indications of the possibility of a ground operation in the near future.”
He pointed out that “the vital infrastructure of the nuclear fuel cycle in Iran has not been severely damaged, and was limited to slight damage,” noting that “the process of fertilization of nuclear materials will continue, and we can even say frankly that the production of nuclear weapons in the future will continue.”
He added: “There are a number of countries that are ready to provide Iran with nuclear heads directly,” after the American attack.
In addition, the former president of Russia considered that “the political system in Iran succeeded in withstanding the steadfastness, and it is likely that it will come out of the crisis more powerful.”

In addition, the Russian Foreign Ministry considered that “the irresponsible decision to target Iran is a violation of international law,” and added: “The risks of conflict in the Middle East have increased significantly.”
For his part, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakji announced that he will go to Moscow and meet Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday.
“I will go to Moscow this afternoon … and hold serious consultations with the Russian president tomorrow,” Araqji said on the sidelines of the Islamic Cooperation Organization in Istanbul.
