The Legislative Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives will discuss today, Tuesday, a number of briefing requests submitted by members of the Council, most notably on the problems of building licenses and reconciliation requests.

The agenda includes discussing the briefing request submitted by Representative Amr Darwish, regarding the fact that the Qalyubia Governorate in 2021 sold the land of the automated bakery located in Benha and an area of 5610 square meters in favor of the Mills Company, the center and west of the Delta – at a cheap price – estimated at the amount of ten million and seventy three thousand pounds – approximately – which is a waste of the governorate resources. The committee also discusses the request of Representative Hassan Omar Hassanein, regarding: Qaliubiya Governorate’s failure to implement the investment plan for the city of Al -Khusus for the two financial years (2023/2024, 2024/2025). (According to the request for briefing).
The committee discusses a request on the intention of some employees of the engineering departments in the local unit of the city of Khanka – Qaliubiya Governorate, not to implement the Prime Minister’s decisions, regarding the facilitation of procedures for issuing building permits in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (119) of 2008, to issue the construction law, as well as refuse to accept reconciliation requests in some building violations in accordance with the whims without working on controls and laws, which led to the outbreaks of the violating construction cases, as stated in the request for briefing.
