Kuwait celebrates today, Monday, the first anniversary of Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al -Hamad Al -Sabah, the mandate of the covenant, to continue the country’s development renaissance march and enhance its position in all fields regionally and globally.
The Crown Prince’s march was crowned with the issuance of an Emiri order on June 1, 2024, to recommend the Emir of the country, Sheikh Mishaal Al -Ahmad Al -Jaber Al -Sabah, as the crown prince, followed on the second of June, an Emiri order to appoint him as crown prince amid a popular welcome that filled the country.
The Crown Prince gave a speech on that occasion in which he addressed the Emir of the country, saying, “I pledge to you with determination and steadfastness to always be the adequate oath and preserve the solid horse and the faithful adviser to His Highness, who is dedicated to my national service, honestly on his interests, preserving his security and stability, sponsoring his values, authenticity, and unity, diligent in his lifting and progress, committed to the teachings of our true Islamic religion and adhered to our established national principles.”

On the same day, the Council of Ministers held a special meeting chaired by Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al -Ahmad Al -Sabah, Prime Minister, in which the Council pledged allegiance to Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al -Hamad Al -Mubarak Al -Sabah, as the crown prince, as well as the constitutional oath before the Council of Ministers.
During the past year, the Crown Prince was keen to follow up on the implementation of development plans in the country, attend many national occasions, open new monuments and facilities, receive a number of Arab and international officials, and honor national figures who have achieved distinguished achievements in addition to his regional and international tours.
