“Kano Cultural” discusses the implementation of the national plan for the advancement of Bahraini women

The Gender Balance Committee at the Abdul Rahman Kano Cultural Center held its periodic meeting, which was devoted to discussing the mechanisms of implementing the fields, initiatives and indicators of the national plan for the advancement of Bahraini women 2025-2026, by integrating them into the center’s activities and cultural and societal programs.

In this context, Dr. Masoumeh Al -Mutawa, Secretary -General of the Center and Chairman of the Gender Balance Committee, affirmed the center’s keenness to activate the mechanisms of the national model for gender balance and implement the national plan for the advancement of Bahraini women, in addition to working with what was stated in strategies, programs and projects emanating from them, in a way that reflects the national commitment to support women in various fields.

She stressed that the Abdul Rahman Kano Cultural Center, as an active civil society institution, plays an important role in enhancing the national indicators of gender balance, pointing to the center’s success in achieving a remarkable presence in the “decision -making and decision” index, through the representation of women in the board of directors and their active membership in the various committees of the center.

Al -Mutawa explained that the current cultural season is a number of activities that support the family stability initiatives, which are considered one of the main areas within the national plan, among them the symposium of “developmental disturbances from awareness to acceptance”, and the inauguration of the family cartoon series “Shields of the Knight”, in addition to discussing the evidence of determination in the Kingdom of Bahrain 2025.

In the field of economic participation, it indicated that the center included in its cultural season activities that contribute to awareness and capacity building in the promising sectors, including a workshop “How do we talk with Chatgpt”, and a lecture entitled “Financial Investment: Is it a necessity?”, With the aim of enhancing women’s readiness to engage in the digital economy and entrepreneurship.

The center also showed an interest in the quality of life quality, by providing qualitative lectures such as “a different perspective for a better life” and “the art of anger”, which contributes to supporting the psychological and social balance of individuals.

The Kano Cultural Center depends on measuring the impact resulting from its activities on digital questionnaires whose results are carefully analyzed and presented to the Board of Directors, with the aim of developing performance and achieving the desired strategic goals, within the framework of the integration of national efforts to advance and empower Bahraini women.
