The National Judo team is participating in the world championship currently held in the Hungarian capital, Budapel, with a delegation headed by the Bahraini Combat Games Member of the Bahraini Judo Federation, Dr. Faisal Khaled Kano.

The delegation of the National Judo team, a member of the Bahraini Judo Federation, includes Abdullah Al -Mannai, the technical director of the Bahraini Judo Federation, coach Elir Edarov, coach Kamal Mohamedouf, treatment specialist Saeed Mohamedouf, players Raslan Boltsuratsky, Askirby Girby and Saeed Sadr Al -Dinov.

The national team started its career with the participation of player Raslan Bolturazki with 60 kg competitions, where he defeated Jayro Moreno in the first round competitions, while he lost to the Japanese player Ryujo Nagaama in the round of 16 competitions.

It is expected that the player, Askirbi Girbykov, will start his career in this “Monday” tournament by running 81 kg, provided that the player Saeed Sadr Al -Dinov begins his career in this tournament “Wednesday” by competing with a weight of 100 kg.

On this occasion, a member of the Bahraini Council for Martial Games confirmed the President of the Bahraini Judo Federation d. Faisal Khaled was that this participation comes within the calendar of championships and entitlements that await the judo team this year, adding that it represents a great importance for the national team, looking forward to achieving the players of the team with a positive presence in this international forum, through competition and reaching the podium.

He added that the national team has the distinctive materials capable of achieving achievements in light of the support that the combat games are receiving by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports and Chairman of the Bahraini Olympic Committee, and the follow -up and interest of the Bahraini Judo Federation by the Bahraini Council for Combat Games headed It will be an opportunity for the elected players to prove their presence and capabilities in the championship and achieve distinctive numbers to raise their international rankings, through which they will seek to compete to qualify for the upcoming Olympics.
