Issa City Secondary School for the First Boys in Olympics Entrepreneurship and Innovation Sixth

Issa City Secondary School for Boys won the first place in the sixth edition of the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Project incubators, organized by the Technology and Investment Promotion Office of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in the Kingdom of Bahrain (UNIDO) in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, on its project (my smart balance).

The project, which was implemented by the students, Sayyid Jawad Mahmoud Jawad, Rashid Ahmed Al -Hayki, Ali Shaker Abdullah, and Mohamed Abdel Majid Mahdi, won the admiration of the jury because of its innovative idea that serves the sustainable development goals, and provides a qualitative addition to the shopping process, by developing a smart application linking the points of sale in many stores.

The student team said that it is proud to honor it at the closing ceremony of the Olympics recently, in confirmation of the importance of this application, which is characterized by displaying full bills details after payment, downloading balances and bills in PDF format, and providing a monthly summary of payments that are created using artificial intelligence, to keep all purchase guarantees electronically, and dispense with the paper to serve the environment, with the availability of a system of points that can Replace them with prizes and discounts, and a savings portfolio that helps users track their financial behavior and achieve savings goals.

The team added that it seeks to expand the scope of the application to link several stores within one agreement, and provides various subscription plans for individuals and companies, including free and paid bouquets that offer additional offers and features, while looking to launch the project initially in the Kingdom of Bahrain, then in the rest of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

And the students indicated that the goal of participating in the Olympics is to achieve the goals of sustainable development and support economic growth, thanking the school administration and the project supervisor, Mr. Ibrahim Hassan Aman, for their continuous support in various stages of planning and implementation.

This achievement is the fruit of the efforts of the Ministry of Education to enable school students to employ technology and innovation in developing practical solutions that meet the needs of society.
