The Israeli occupation authorities in the city of Ramat Jan began the demolition of four buildings that were severely damaged by the Iranian missile shelling, which occurred about a week ago, and resulted in the evacuation of more than 300 families and more than a thousand people from the affected neighborhood.
The city’s engineer, Seagal Hourich, explained that these buildings were classified as unimportant and pose a threat to public safety, after field tests conducted by engineering and planning teams.
120 buildings were damaged
In the same context, it was reported that about 120 buildings in the Tarsha and Al -Quds Street area were damaged in varying degrees as a result of the bombing, while the residents reported the flying of wreckage and broken glass that reached buildings located several streets from the collision site.
For his part, the mayor of Ramat Jean, Carmel Shama Hakahin, stated that the current demolitions represent the beginning of a comprehensive renewal project in the region, and explained that the project includes the residence of the population in new apartments equipped with modern facilities, in addition to establishing a public park and a new park in the region.
