The Israeli newspaper “Yediot Aharonot” reported that “the Israeli army launched an attack yesterday (Friday) in the Gaza Strip with the aim of liquidating Al -Issa, known as Abu Omar Al -Suri, a element in the military wing of Hamas, which the security services accused of being involved in planning the October 7 attack and establishing the movement’s training system.”
The newspaper stated that Al -Essa, who is attributed to a pivotal role in establishing the modern military structure of Hamas and training thousands of elements, was killed with his wife and his grandson in a raid that targeted him inside the Gaza Strip.
