The Israeli army announced the implementation of extensive air strikes inside Iranian territory, targeting a number of military bases and infrastructure of Iranian air defenses, in a direct and unprecedented escalation between the two sides.
A statement by the Israeli army stated that the raids affected the Humdan and Tabriz military bases, confirming the complete destruction of the Tabriz base, in addition to hitting dozens of targets of the air defense system of the Iranian regime, without revealing additional details about the losses.
The statement also indicated that the attack included a nuclear facility in the Isfahan region, adding that the operation was carried out “with high accuracy” and targeted military sites that Israel considered part of the Iranian infrastructure that poses a “direct threat” to its national security.

Iran has not yet issued an official comment on these allegations, while local media reported that explosions occurred in several governorates, including Isfahan and Tabriz, with fires and interruptions of communications in some areas.
These strikes come in the wake of a widespread military escalation in the region, after Iran launched missiles and aircraft flowing towards Israel during the past few days, amid increasing fears of the situation sliding towards a comprehensive regional confrontation that includes multiple international parties.
