Iranian official media confirmed, on Saturday evening, the death of the Admiral Ali Shamkhani, the advisor to the Iranian guide for political affairs, as a result of serious injuries sustained yesterday as a result of Israeli raids targeting Tehran.
The Iranian National Security Council news agency, which belongs to the Iranian National Security Council, said this evening that Shamkhani, Ali Khamenei’s advisor, who died on Saturday evening, as a result of serious injuries yesterday.
Iranian sources said yesterday to the agency that his health (Shamkhani) “has not witnessed a change since before the noon hours.”
He added that “his general condition is not satisfactory due to the injuries he suffered, but the medical staff continues to provide the necessary care and treatment.”
