She added in a post on her Facebook page: “Their faces face the wind, and their hearts are attached to the cries of Gaza.”
The International Committee to break the siege on Gaza reported today, Sunday, that the ship “Madeleine” is a miles away from Gaza.
The committee said, in a post on its Facebook page today, that “activists aboard Madeleine” continue to sail despite the threats, carrying the world’s message to the trapped “You are not alone.”
She added: “Their faces face the wind, and their hearts are attached to the cries of Gaza,” noting that “the task is approaching the moment of truth.”
The “Madeleine” ship of the Freedom Fleet Alliance sailed from Sicily last Sunday, with a group of 12 activists on board.
They say they want to bring relief supplies that include children’s food and medicine for people in need in the Gaza Strip. At the same time, they want to draw international attention to the humanitarian situation on the ground.
