The City of Scientific Research and Technological Applications announced the inclusion of 3 electrochemical chemical vehicles, which were developed within a joint research team from Egypt (Scientific Research City, Atomic Energy Corporation) and Italy, at the Data of the International Foundation for ICDD, after publishing its research results in one of the specialized scientific periodicals, and its official approval in May 2025.

Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research stressed that this achievement embodies the success of Egyptian scientific research efforts in achieving excellence at the international level, and reflects the qualified research cadres and advanced research cadres capable of producing reliable knowledge of high scientific and applied value.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research added that the inclusion of these vehicles in the ICDD database opens new horizons for international research cooperation, contributes to supporting advanced industries in the fields of energy, material technology and innovation, and enhances the position of Egyptian research institutions in global databases.

Dr. Mona Abdel -Latif, Director of the City of Scientific Research and Technological Applications, explained that the research team was able to determine the introductory fingerprint and crystal identity of three electrical nanoparticles used to convert thermal energy into electrical energy, noting that its inclusion in the iCD database came after a precise scientific review that lasted for nearly two years.

Dr. Mona Abdel Latif added that this success is a qualitative addition to the city’s achievements record, and confirms her ability to provide authentic research used as a scientific and industrial reference accredited in the fields of renewable energy, nanoparticles, and electronic devices applications.

The research team included Dr. Abdel -Hadi Bashir Qashout, the researcher at the Department of Electronic Materials Research in the City of Scientific Research, Dr. Shaima Abdullah, the assistant researcher who is responsible for coordination with the International Foundation for Radiology and Vehicle Registration, and Dr. Naama Jumaa in front of the assistant researcher at the Atomic Energy Authority, and in cooperation with Dr. Giuliana Aquilanti from the Center The Synchron, Dr. Humberto Cabrra, from the Optics and theoretical Physics Center in the Italian city of Trista.

Dr. Abdel -Hadi Qashout pointed out that the research paper that dealt with these vehicles was published in the Journal of Mateials Research and Technology of the International Publishing House Esevier, which is classified as a Scopus classification, explaining that the manufacturing method depended on the technology With the amendment of the proportions of the elements involved in the installation, which resulted in unique crystallization and morphological properties that qualified them for acceptance in the ICDD database.

Dr. Shaima Abdullah also emphasized that these vehicles are one of the authentic research products of applied value, and contribute to the development of scientific knowledge in the fields of solid materials, nanoparticles and energy.

Dr. Shaima Abdullah explained that the registered crystal identities are used in the industrial sector for quality control and production in accordance with international specifications, and also contribute to enriching academic research through the availability of internationally approved XRD data, L, which allows researchers all over the world to compare their results accurately and develop new applications in the fields of energy, electronic devices and advanced materials.

It is noteworthy that the International Center for Diffrance Data – ICDD is an international scientific institution specialized in the issuance of “Powder Diffection File – PDF”, and is the only reference source recognized globally in the description of crystallization materials, and is based in the United States of America, and has been used since 1937 as a basic tool for material science research all over the world.
