For his part, the legal agent of Sheikh Yasser Odeh, lawyer Hassan Adel Bazzi, said that “during the exit of Odeh from the office of Mr. Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah in Haret Hreik at three o’clock this afternoon, he objected to two young men on a motorbike, between them Mukhtar Al -Bashawar Kamal Shahrour, who asked him if he was the Sheikh Odeh, and when he answered that he was, he began to strike and attack him and direct insults, without knowing the motives.” “There is no prior knowledge between the two young men and a return.”
He added: “When the attack took place, some people gathered, and one of them tried to smuggle the Sheikh, but the two young men followed him with a motorcycle to hit him again, which confirms that the attack took place from a previous imagination and design, and was not a coincidence,” noting that the two young men are around from view, and “but we will continue all the legal steps that we started to hold them accountable,” and he completely denying that the Sheikh is a return.
