The retired artist Abeer Al -Sharqawi responded to the criticisms that affected her because of her talk about her ex -wife during the last period, explaining that she did not intend to offend him, as the audience claimed, and that they had a relationship and friendliness because of their son.
Abeer Al -Sharqawi said, in a special statement to Cairo 24, that her statements about her ex -wife did not mean what he reached to the audience, stressing that she cannot offend the father of her son, especially since they have a friendship relationship since the end of the crises with reconciliation, saying: I mean to offend Abu my son, and we have contacted from 2019 and all the issues ended with reconciliation and there is no problems between us now, he is a respectable man. The relationship between us is the most beautiful.

On the other hand, Abeer Al -Sharqawi previously revealed the truth of the statement circulating on her tongue, that art is forbidden, and that her father was angry with her because of her wearing the veil, where she wrote on Facebook: Some words spread on my tongue that I say that art is forbidden and the works that we see are forbidden by 95% and that my father was angry with me after what I wore the veil, first I do not forbid art in the absolute.
And she continued: Art is a sublime and influential message in the peoples, perhaps I have criticized some of the works because of its abuse or the promotion of disobedience, but it is difficult to make words like 95% forbidden, this is not my words and I am not a mufti because I say that, finally and most importantly, the door of God have mercy on him, what was angry with me because of the veil.
