In a scene that reflects the qualitative shift in private higher education in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Arab Academy for Educational Services and Research – which owns the National University and the National School and the Bahrain Institute of Technology – the meeting of the regular and unusual general assembly, where the session witnessed the adoption of the election of Mrs. Hala Farouk Al -Moayad as Chairman of the Board, in addition to approving additional financial support of 5 million Bahraini dinars to complete the new campus project in Salman City, expected Its opening in the year 2026.

With a remarkable confidence and feelings full of responsibility, the supporter chaired the meeting that was held at the headquarters of the National University in the capital, Manama, in the presence of 85% of the shareholders, stressing in her speech that this responsibility represents an honorable assignment, and that it shares all the attendees “great dreams and renewed aspirations for the future of the university and the school, befitting the reputation of the two institutions and keeping pace with the aspirations of the country.”

For his part, the founding president, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National University of the University, Professor Abdullah Al -Hawaj, stressed that the university is steadfastly moved towards new horizons in graduate and bachelor’s studies, in light of the support and support of the Higher Education Council, led by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Jumaa, Minister of Education. Al -Hawaj indicated that the university has achieved advanced results in a number of international rankings, which enhances its academic competitiveness and contributes to preparing graduates with knowledge and efficiency.

The ordinary general assembly approved the minutes of the previous meeting, and adopted the literary and financial reports, praising the prominent achievements of the university, especially in international classifications, as well as the remarkable excellence of the private school in the international Times tests in science and mathematics.

The General Assembly also blessed the university launching new academic programs in the fields of health, interior design, and management, in addition to the growing expansion of graduate studies, which reflects the university’s commitment to providing education that responds to the market requirements and keeps pace with modern transformations in professions and specialties.

As for the extraordinary session, the shareholders voted unanimously to pump 5 million Bahraini dinars from a number of partners and shareholders, to support the completion of the construction of the new campus in Salman.

The Board of Directors reviewed before the association’s developments, confirming the full commitment to the schedule, provided that all stages of construction are completed, in preparation for the actual transfer to the new campus in the year 2026.

The new campus is expected to represent a qualitative shift in the civil university march, as it provides an advanced educational environment and modern facilities, which contribute to developing academic performance, promoting scientific research, and supporting community partnerships, making the National University a national model for renewable university education and ambition.
