In implementation of the supreme directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country’s great country, and in implementation of the command of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues its efforts to facilitate the return of Bahraini citizens stranded in countries affected by the current conditions, as the number of people who have been facilitated so far (1215) citizens.
Earlier today, two planes belonging to the Gulf Airlines, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, arrived from the Republic of Turkmenistan, with (350) citizens whose return from the Islamic Republic of Iran is facilitated.
They were received upon their arrival at Bahrain International Airport, a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Health, the Bahrain Airport Services Company and the Gulf Air Company, where the necessary facilities were provided to them and health checks were conducted to check on their safety.
It also arrived in the Kingdom (198) citizens coming by land as part of the efforts made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide buses that transferred them from the city of Mashhad in the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
On the other hand, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sultanate of Oman received a number of Bahraini families returning from Bandar Abbas, in cooperation with the sister Ministry of Foreign Affairs Shalamjah border between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Iraq.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its thanks and appreciation to the competent authorities in the brothers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of Iraq, and the Republic of Turkmenistan for their cooperation and support in securing safe roads to facilitate the return of Bahraini citizens stranded abroad, and the ability of the efforts of the UAE’s sister’s embassy to Turkmenistan in facilitating the crossing of citizens through the border crossing.
The Ministry affirms its keenness to continue its intensive efforts to facilitate and secure the return of the rest of the citizens abroad who want to return, and to facilitate the necessary measures in this regard, in direct coordination with the missions of the Kingdom of Bahrain abroad and the brotherly and friendly concerned countries.
Due to the developments of the current situation, the ministry renews its invitation to all citizens stranded in the city of Mashhad and its suburbs to go to the Transportation Office at the Zamzam 1 Hotel on Shirazi Street, to arrange the schedule of their departure with buses as soon as possible, where citizens can communicate with the office on the following numbers: (00989337182686), (00989907809767),, (00989332159577), while the citizens in the city of Shiraz and its environs can communicate on the number (00989372463896), and the citizens present in the city of Tehran and the city of Qom can communicate on the following numbers: (00989393881726), (00989905588200).
