The governor of the US State of Idaho, Brad Little, announced that a number of firefighters were attacked while trying to control a fire that broke out in the north of the state, in an accident that he described as a “heinous direct attack” on those who described it as brave firefighters.
Little called in a post on the “X” platform (Twitter “the state’s residents to pray for the injured and their families, and urged everyone to stay away from the area to allow the security services and the competent teams to perform its tasks.

According to local news reports, quoting police surveying devices, a number of firefighters were shot.
The Emergency Management Office in Coutinai Province issued its alert to citizens in the vicinity of the shelter in their places.
A Coutinai police officer told ABC that the firefighters were dealing with a small fire that broke out in the natural area of Jabal Kanfield east of the city, when they were shot from a person in a nearby forest area.
Howard added that the officials are investigating whether the fire was arranged.
